On May 22, 2007 the Honorable Richard A. Schell, United States District Judge, gave the Oath of Allegiance to over 700 new Citizens for the Naturalization Ceremony at the Plano Convention Center in Plano. Judge Schell requested the Plano and McKinney Chapters of Collin County, Sons of the American Revolution (SAR) to participate by the presentation and retrieval of Colors during the Ceremony. The Pledge of Allegiance was led by SAR member, Michael Radcliff.

The TXSSAR Color Guard presented and retired the Colors for 750 new citizens from 88 different countries with a total attendance of 1550. Compatriots Richard Arnold, Robert Hall, Howard Roach, Dan Reed, Mike Radcliff and William Walker were present.
