On April 4, 2007 members of the McKinney and Plano chapters participated in a USCIS Naturalization Ceremony held at the Garland ISD Special Events Center. 2750 people from 124 countries were naturalized. Texas Senator John Cornyn was the guest speaker. The Marine Corp provided the color guard and the SAR members were on the stage. Mike Radcliff presented Senator Cornyn with a Certificate from the TXSSAR. Mike also presented a Certificate of Appreciation to James Henson, Deputy Director of the USCIS Dallas office.
