The McKinney SAR Chapter held its monthly meeting on April 12, 2007 at 7:00 pm at the Steak Kountry Restaurant in McKinney.

Attendees were: Billy & Kathleen Thompson, Don & Ann Sielert, Robert Hall, Marshall & Sylvia Battle, Cecil and Marcia Coale, Milton Lentz, Eugene Trimble, Larry Jones, Ron Smith, Pete McLellan, Willie and Marylin Walker, and guest Ms. Linda Robinson. There was a total of 18 members, Wosars and two guests.

Treasurer Cecil Coale reported that there were $679 in available funds in the chapter bank account. The dues check from TXSSAR has not been received by the chapter yet.

Ms. Linda Robinson presented a delightful program about the USO DFW Meet and Greet project at the DFW airport each day. She also volunteered for USO duty in Iraq and will depart soon. President Pete McLellan presented her with a Certificate of Appreciation.

President McLellan invited everyone to the DAR John Abston grave marking ceremony at 3 pm this Saturday.

The meeting was adjourned at 7:45 pm by President McLellan.
