The McKinney Chapter held its monthly meeting at the Steak Kountry restaurant on September 14, 2006 at 7 pm.
Those attending the meeting were: Marshall and Sylvia Battle, Ken and Adele Bell, Cecil and Marcia Coale, Nick and Ann Harper, Larry Jones, Milton Lentz, Peter and Dagne McLellan, Dan and Ann Sielert, James and Mae Shaw, Steve and Sharlene Seachord, Tommy Slay, Billy and Kathleen Thompson, Willie and Marylin Walker, Judge Nathan and Wanda White, and Judge Mike Yarbrough. Visitors were Chief Kowalski, Assistant Chief Rex Redden and Detective Marco Robles of the McKinney Police department.
The attendees ate supper from 6:30 to 7:00 pm.
President Walker called the meeting to order at 7 pm.
Treasurer Cecil Coale reported that there was $1200 in the chapter bank account.
Chief Kowalski briefed the audience on the status of the quadruple murder and recent real estate agent murder in McKinney.
President Walker presented the Law Enforcement medal and certificate to Detective Robles and certificates of appreciation to Chief Kowalski and Chief Redden.
President General Nathan White thanked the group for their support in the successful National Congress held in Dallas this summer.
New members Larry Jones and Bill Thompson were sworn in and presented with rosettes.
The meeting was adjourned at 8:30pm by President Walker
