The McKinney Chapter held its monthly meeting at the Steak Kountry restaurant on October 12, 2006 at 7 pm.

Those attending the meeting were: Marshall and Sylvia Battle, Cecil and Marcia Coale, Peter and Dagne McLellan, David Noe, Tommy Slay, Billy and Kathleen Thompson, Willie and Marylin Walker. Mrs. Dorris James was a visitor and guest speaker.

The attendees ate supper from 6:30 to 7:00 pm.

President Walker called the meeting to order at 7 pm.

Treasurer Cecil Coale reported that there was $1300 in the chapter bank account.

Mrs. Dorris James told the group how to use the McKinney Family History Center to access the vast genealogy holdings of the LDS library in Salt Lake City.

The meeting was adjourned at 8:30 pm by President Walker.
