The First Cub Scouts Pack 437's Blue and Gold Banquet was held on March 4, 2006 in Richardson. Sterling Mott, Cubmaster, explain that the Blue and Gold banquets are held by Cub Scouts around the world designed to celebrate the founding of the Cub Scouting in 1930. These Banquets are held for the recognition of Cub Scouts achievements and to honor their promotions to a higher level. The Plano Chapter of Colin County of the Sons of the American Revolution (SAR) was asked to present and retire the Colors. After the flag ceremony, Mike Radcliff gave information about the SAR, activities, family involvement, and patriotic information. Compatriot Radcliff led the Pledge of Allegiance. Attending were Compatriot Richard Arnold, Peter Rowley, Mike Radcliff and Steve Seachord.
