On Thursday, March 2, 2006, The Plano Chapter Color Guard went to east Texas at Tyler for a U. S. Naturalization Ceremony by the Homeland Security Department. Honorable Judge Judith Guthrie conducted the induction ceremony. The morning session inducted 64 new citizens from 9 different counties while the afternoon session inducted 39 citizens from 11 different countries. There were approximately 65 visitors and friends in attendance at each session. Judge Guthrie requested the Color Guard to present and retrieve the Colors for the Ceremony.
