Color Guard members with two new U.S. citizens.

On Tuesday, February 28, 2006, a U.S. Citizen Naturalization Ceremony was Hosted by the Plano Civic Centre for the Homeland Security Department. Federal Magistrate Judge Don D. Bush declared the Civic Centre a temporary Federal Court for the purpose of inducting new citizens.

Judge Bush requested that the Plano SAR Chapter Color Guard present and retire the Colors. The Plano Mary Shirley McGuire DAR Chapter handed out American Flags. Judge Bush swore in 644 new citizens from 87 different countries. Some 655 relatives and friends also attended. The PISD Bridlewood Elementary School with Music Teacher Phyllis Thomas provided the vocal presentation of the Star Spangled Banner.

Members of the color guard were Richard Arnold (Plano), James Johnson (Denton/McKinney), Mike Radcliff (Plano/McKinney), Dan Reed (Plano), Donald Rowley (Plano), Peter Rowley (Plano/McKinney) and William Walker (Plano/McKinney).
