The McKinney SAR Chapter held its monthly meeting on December 14, 2006 at 7:00 pm at the Steak Kountry Restaurant in McKinney.

Those attending the meeting were: Marshall and Sylvia Battle, Cecil and Marcia Coale, Gary Coats, Dave and Mich Danae, Ernest Martin and wife, Peter and Dagne McLellan, Milton Lentz, James and Mae Shaw, Ron and Julie Smith, Eugene Trimble, Willie and Marylin Walker, Nathan and Wanda White.

Treasurer Cecil Coale reported about $1100 in the bank.

Officers for the 2007 year were elected: President Peter McLellan, Vice President Milton Lentz, Secretary/Treasurer/ Webmaster Cecil Coale, Historian Marshall Battle, Chaplain Tommy Slay, Registrar Willie Walker, Sergeant at Arms Billie Lee Thompson.

Guest speakers were Ms. Marilyn Stidham and Ms. Mary Headrick of the Collin County Meals on Wheels program.

President Walker presented Ms. Headrick with the SAR Bronze Good Citizen medal and certificate. He presented a Certificate of Appreciation to Ms. Stidham.

President Walker advised that a joint Board of Managers meeting will be sponsored by the the McKinney and Plano Chapters in November, 2007.

The meeting was adjourned at 8:30 pm by President Walker.
