Curtis and Martha Ratcliff celebrated 70 years of marriage on April 23, 2006. Compatriot Ratcliff has been a member of the Sons of the American Revolution since the early 1950's. The family requested that the Plano Chapter of Collin County present and post the Colors during the anniversary celebration. The Plano Chapter wanted to congratulate the Ratcliff's for a long and fruitful life.

Attending from the SAR were Curtis and Martha Ratcliff, Peter Rowley (Plano/McKinney) & Sandi Craig, Steve (Plano/McKinney) & Charlene Seachord, Dan (Plano) & Carolyn Reed and Mike Radcliff (Plano).

Dan Reed posted the Colors while Mike Radcliff stood guard.
